My name is Alexis Yulo Hoffman, welcome to my website!
I first became interested in fashion design at 5 years old when I caught a glimpse of an episode of Project Runway. I proceeded to make myself a dress out of paper. This simple project started me on my journey as a fashion designer.
Since then, I have consistently been working my way through the industries. My sewing background began at my local Boys and Girls Club, and eventually I would take lessons from a couture shop owner who would teach me all about couture construction and outsourcing. I have also completed over 10 precollege programs at both the Fashion Institute of Technology and Rhode Island School of Design.
Currently, I am a senior at the Fashion Institute of Technology, majoring in Fashion Design - Special Occasion with a triple minor in Psychology, Film and Media, and Latin American Studies.
