A good friend of mine, Cecil, approached me about costuming their queer punk band for an upcoming concert. The theme was “Punk Prom” and they hoped to have their aesthetic similar to the film Lisa Frankenstein (2024, dir Zelda Williams, costumes by Meagan McLaughlin).
I created garments and styled a total of 5 people, conscious of their preferred color palette, gender presentation, and identity expressions! My favorite garments I created are the band tee corset (made from a Cat Crash t shirt) and the green punk tie!
