Out of 390 students, 45 designs were chosen to be displayed in the Pomerantz Center Lobby at FIT. The theme this semester was Crafted: The Beauty Of Fashion In Its Simplest Form. We were given the challenge of only using muslin fabric to construct our garments. Based on Moulin Rouge, my design consists of 750 hand sewn glass crystals, and over 40yds of muslin.
